New Restoration Show for 2014

Practical Classics Restoration ShowPractical Classics magazine has teamed up with Clarion Events, organisers of the Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show, to bring another major classic car show to the NEC in Birmingham next year.

The Restoration Show, to be held on 12th and 13th April at the NEC, places itself near the beginning of the main classic car events calendar. The show looks to deliver a range of exhibits and demonstrations to inspire and help those already taking on, or about to approach, a classic vehicle restoration.

With Practical Classics being joined by its sister classic car publications from the Bauer Media stable, it is expected to gain strong coverage leading up to the event and substantial support for its inaugural show.

We expect to see a smaller, but much more focuses show than the autumn NEC event, with less about the wider classic car industry, yet much more of the tool, restoration demonstration and autojumble elements retained.

So far the following has been confirmed to be part of the show:

  • Practical Classics Live Stage
  • Live demos in The Workshop
  • Problems solved in Classic Car ER
  • Classic Car Club demos & displays
  • Barn finds for sale
  • Restoration projects auction
  • Britain’s Best Restoration Awards

We look forward to bringing you more on the show as it’s announced.
