The British Automobile Racing Club (BARC) was founded in 1912 as The Cyclecar Club. The club developed over the years, organising many iconic and classic racing events including at the famous Brooklands circuit.

In 2005 the BARC purchased the TOCA Company who operate the British Touring Car Championship, adding another prestige Championship to its portfolio, alongside its venues: Thruxton, Croft, Pembrey, Gurston Hill Climb and Harewood Hill Climb. Today BARC organises races at almost every venue in Great Britain.

BARC is a racing club open to those wanting to get closer to racing, get on track themselves or become a marshal.
