The Banbury Steam Society was founded in 1966 by a group of Steam Engine enthusiasts who believed that these classic machines and associated vintage equipment should be preserved, maintained and displayed.

The Society meets on the third Tuesday of each month at the North Newington sport and social club in North Newington, near Banbury.

The Society attends rallies and exhibitions throughout the year and also organise their own Rally each summer when you can rely on seeing a wide range of equipment through all ages.
