The Avenger Sunbeam Owners Club was set up in 1989 by Sunbeam Lotus enthusiast Malcolm Wood, originally only concerned with the Talbot Sunbeam Lotus. Over the years this has been widened to also cater for all Avengers and Sunbeams, including the Hillman Avenger, Chrysler Avenger, Talbot Avenger, Dodge Avenger, Hillman Arrow, Plymouth Cricket, Dodge 1800, Dodge Polara, Dodge 1500, VW 1500, Sunbeam 1250/1300/1500/1600, Simca Sunbeam, Chrysler Sunbeam, Talbot Sunbeam and Talbot Sunbeam Lotus.

The club today has over 500 members with the aim of restoring, preserving and using these charismatic classic cars, whether an everyday runabout or competitive rally car.

Membership of the club provides various benefits to our classic cars owners and enthusiasts, including:

  • Discounted R.A.C. and A.A. membership
  • Technical advice and help with location of spares
  • Agreed value insurance policies
  • The opportunity to attend rallies and other events
